India lifts Asia Cup 2025, beats Pakistan by 5 wickets; Tilak shines with massive fifty

India is the Asia Cup Champions. Half-centurion Tilak Varma starred for India in the Asia Cup final. Abhishek Sharma (5), skipper Suryakumar Yadav (1), and Shubman Gill (12) could not make much impact, while Sanju Samson made 24.

Earlier, Kuldeep Yadav starred with a four-wicket haul as India restricted Pakistan to 146 in 19.1 overs. Varun Chakaravarthy (2), Axar Patel (2), and Jasprit Bumrah (2) were the other wicket-takers.

Sent in to bat, Pakistan's opening duo Sahibzada Farhan (57 off 38 balls) and Fakhar Zaman (46 off 35 balls) gave their team a great start. However, the Indian spin trio of Varun Chakravarthy, Kuldeep Yadav, and Axar Patel spun a web as Pakistan suffered a major collapse.
